Ricardo Izquierdo, MD Talmage Raine, MDIn partnership for over 10 years, with over 40 years of combined experience, Doctors Raine
and Izquierdo are fully trained in all aspects of plastic surgery and board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. They take pride not only in their work but also in their collegial, approachable manner.

Drs. Raine and Izquierdo regularly attend local, regional and national conferences to keep informed of new techniques and ideas and are actively involved as officers and committee members in prestigious plastic surgery organizations. They also sponsor local seminars, travel on international volunteer surgical missions and offer their time in community philanthropic organizations.

They believe that it is important for patients to be well-informed of their surgeon's training, licensing and experience. The American Society of Medical Specialties recognizes only surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as plastic surgeons. They have completed five to eight years of residency after medical school, passed a written examination, and successfully presented a cross-section of their cases in an oral examination. Their training has encompassed all aspects of current surgical practice including wound healing, anatomy, diseases affecting surgery (i.e. diabetes, hypertension, liver and kidney disease), as well as technical aspects important in the safe performance of surgical procedures.

Surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery have experience in surgery of all tissues such as bone, nerve, muscle and skin. The basis for cosmetic surgery is a sound knowledge of anatomy and function, as well as knowledge in the reconstruction of the areas treated. All of this information and experience is used for planning a safe and successful course of treatment for each individual patient.
